This Liet is about 5-6 years old, he's just become the Duchy and he's still relatively small--he has not started his territorial expansions yet, so he's somewhere in the 1263-1290 range, timeline-wise. He has a lot of fights with his neighbors and is mentally pretty exhausted from it, but before that he was one of many divided tribes. It's a nice change for him and it has helped him build some of the skills he'll need later as a teenager and an adult. As a side note, since Mindaugas (the first Grand Duke of Lithuania who united the tribes) came from southern Lithuania, I am going with the assumption that Liet was that area at this time and Mindaugas was always "his" duke.
At this point in his life he hasn't really met Ukraine, Poland, or most of the other nations he will later call neighbors yet, but he has dealt a lot with Prussia and can't stand him. He's met Russia a few times and doesn't know what to make of him, and he's also met Hungary and talked to her like an acquaintance, if not a friend. He has heard of several other world powers through Hungary, and while he hasn't dealt with Belarus in canon there was some annexation even at this time of lands that would later become Belarus. It has been mentioned in canon that Lithuania and Belarus were childhood friends, but we don't know when that began; it's possible it began way back in the 1230s when Lithuania was just forming. To this day the annexation was considered to be peaceful and desired by both parties, so in that case he might have taken a protector or even big brother role toward a young Belarus.
There are several other nations he was dealing with at this time who do not currently have personifications: the Livonian order, first a separate entity and then a part of the Teutonic knights; the old (Baltic) Prussians, beginning to decline at this time; and Baltic tribes in both Lithuania and Latvia.
He's relatively shy around strangers and gets defensive around them if he thinks they're hostile, but he is a curious little guy and occasionally pokes his nose in where he shouldn't. He's generally pretty modest and not as bad about complaining as his modern-day self. Because he was raised almost entirely by adults in dangerous time, he tries his best to always be polite, but he is always ready to fight back if he feels threatened. His best friend is his dog, who he sometimes forgets shouldn't go everywhere with him.
